Situated at the foot of the mountain Lance, the village has been existed for 6000 years. The tour will lead you from St Anne 's Chapel (12th century) to a Norman church (rebuilt during the 18th century).

Perched at an altitude of 348 m, at the foot of the Montagne de la Lance (1,340 m) in the foothills of the Pre-Alps, this charming tiered village has a rich 6,000-year history.
An important meeting place for the Celts and Greeks, it houses an archaeological museum featuring a wealth of artifacts unearthed during excavations on the Colline Saint-Marcel site, including an exceptional quantity of pseudo-Ionian ceramics.
The Church of Saint-Marcel and Saint-Menne houses the former castral chapel dating from the 11th or 12th century, remodeled in the 17th and enlarged in the 18th. It houses polychrome wooden statues.
