Jardin de l'Aube
‘Le Jardin’ is a dedicated to ethno-botanical science : it is a botanical garden open to all free of charge. Its gardeners offer guided tours and workshops around plants, botanical science but also historical and ancient know-how.
The garden is dedicated to ‘companion plants’ according to Pierre Lieutaghi’s expression, it gathers useful plants renown for centuries for their medicinal, aromatic, dyeing or textile properties.
Everyone is welcome to observe and learn about each plants with the use of educational panels on site. It is a lively and active centre that offers guided visits and hands-on workshops around botanical science and the use of plants.
Themes covered in our program : the history of textile, vegetable pigment and dyes, tanins, fibers, soap-plants, rope making and wickerwork, edible, medicinal and aromatic plants, the history of plants and an ethnographic vision of ancient usage in the Diois .

Opening
From 01/01 to 31/12, daily.
Open all year round but the garden is particularly interesting from April to October. Open to visitors at all times. Guided visits by appointment only, please send us an email or phone to book.
Prices
Free of charge. We charge for activities, guided tours and workshops. There is a calender of events available on our website and the Tourist Office website. To book for a group, send us an email, we will send you a quote based on your request.
