Murets d'art - Entre roc et estang

Murets d'Art is an artistic, environmental and international trail between France (Saoû) and Spain (Sierra de Guara). The "Muret d'Art" trail is part of the "Entre Roc et Estang" hiking circuit.

Its aim is to preserve and enhance the dry-stone wall heritage of the Franco-Spanish routes.

Route description: from the village, take the bridge opposite the schools and Mairie; at the top of rue de l'Houmme, turn left and follow the signs to the gîte de Chantebise (alt. 349m). Continue along the road on your right. At the next junction, take the road on your left towards Domaine du Roc and gîte d'Haulty. Leaving gîte d'Haulty on your right and Domaine du Roc on your left, continue straight ahead on a carriage road for 200 m. The entrance to the murets d'art is on your left.
You can return downhill along the same route, or bypass the old village on the left, or follow the Murets d'Art route between Roc and Estang.
