After running a guesthouse (B&B) for over 10 years, Fabienne and Jacques have created this practical, well-equipped gîte for 2 people. La Bastide de la Coda is in Châteauneuf-du-Rhône, south of Montélimar (known as the Gateway to Provence), 5km from centre of town famous for its nougat. At heart of Rhône valley, 5 min. from exit 18 off A7 motorway, 45 min. from Valence and Orange - ideally located for rapid access to major tourist attractions in the Drôme, Ardèche and Vaucluse. Within 20km radius: château of Grignan (once home to Madame de Sévigné), La Garde-Adhémar (12th century church in fiefdom of Adhémar family), Alba-la-Romaine (capital of the Helvii in ancient times), Marsanne (hilltop village between plain and mountains).
