Village de Montaulieu
Little village of Haute Provence enjoying a very sunny situation. Olive trees, apricot trees, lavender, lime trees... An enchanting environment which is very attractive for artists and wild nature lovers.
The village has a 19th century Church and the ruins of two of the three castles there used to be: the ruins of one behind the city hall, the ruins of the other under the Chapel in the village center.
Montaulieu is one of those tiny villages of Baronnies which has been divided in three communities of inhabitants during the feudal era: Montaulieu, Rocheblave and la Bâtie Costechaude.
Several rambles cross those localities.
