History and Archaeology Museum
Die and the Diois Region Archeological Museum hosts local collections across all historical periods : Prehistory (in particular the Neolithic and the Bronze Age), Antiquity, the Middle-Ages and the Modern Period. Duration of the visit: 1h30.
The Archaeological Museum of Die recounts the history of Pays Diois, a history about as wide as its territory. Located at the heart of the Drôme Département gateway to the Vercors, the town of Die attracts many tourists every year wanting to discover the richness of its country.
The museum, open to all, offers locals, tourists, school children or families a chance to discover the heritage and history of the Diois region through its treasures accumulated and preserved over the years. It is one of the most important archaeological collection of Rhône-Alpes.
The museum is a major player of the local culture scene and offers guided visits, educational workshops and an extensive cultural program throughout the year.

Opening
From 15/06 to 20/09/2024, every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday between 3 pm and 6 pm.
Closed exceptionally on July 14th and August 15th.
