Circuit des trois gorges
With its leisurely start up the lower Oule valley, the route allows you to warm up your thighs for a few kilometers before joining the challenge of the Arnayon gorges. But this tour doesn't stop at following the rivers, far from it, as it takes you up to the Col de la Pertie, some 972 m above sea level. This is followed by a crossing of the suspended Léoux valley and a flanking passage through the gorge of the same name, carved out like a deep gash at the foot of Montagne d'Angèle. A long, winding descent through the village of Villerperdrix offers a panoramic view of the meandering
the meandering Eygues gorges. You'll then come full circle at the foot of Saint-May, the emblematic village of the gorges, perched on a limestone spur amidst the river's steep curves. Ideal season: October.
