Chapelle Notre-Dame-des-Grâces

Chapelle Notre-Dame-des-Grâces
Le village26230 Chantemerle-lès-Grignan

Legend has it that the Chapelle Notre Dame des Grâces was built following a plague epidemic in the 14th century, on the site of a chapel dedicated to St. Anthony. Today, it is used as an exhibition hall and for children's workshops.

Built in 1707 on the ruins of a 14th-century chapel built by the monks of Aiguebelle to protect Chantemerle from the plague, Notre-Dame-des-Grâces was raised and equipped with a bell tower.
It is also known as Notre-Dame-de-Beaulieu.
