Château de Poët-Célard

The château in the village of Poët Celard figures among the places captured by the Huguenot captain Montbrun in 1574 and Lesdiguières established a garrison manned by thirty soldiers in 1626.

Les Blaïn, lui préféraient le château Saint-André, mieux placé et plus confortable, l'abandonnèrent purement et simplement au 18ème siècle. Entièrement restauré, il abrite aujourd'hui un hôtel restaurant.
