Perched atop the village of Clansayes, the Romanesque church of St Michel overlooks the Rhône valley.
The Romanesque church of St Michel dates from the 13th century. Please note that the site is only open on request, and for Heritage Days.
It has been listed as a historic monument since July 13, 1926. This small Romanesque church was built in the 13th century (nave) and enlarged in the 15th century with the addition of two chapels. From this vantage point, you can admire a magnificent panoramic view of the Rhône Valley and the Vivarais mountains.
