Église Saint-Pierre
Saint-Pierre church in Saint-Auban-sur-Ouvèze is located in the center of the village perched on a rocky outcrop.
Saint-Pierre church has had its present appearance since 1860, when the commune underwent major innovation and renovation work.
The reopening of the Protestant church in the same year prompted Catholics to seek a better representation of themselves. To this end, the church was extended by two bays, built over the former cemetery, the opening was moved to the west and a wall-belfry was built.
The belfry takes the form of a square tower topped by a spire in line with the wall. On the façade, particularly on the door lintel, the date "1860" is inscribed. There is a small niche above it, housing a painted statuette of the Virgin Mary. The church has a single nave, jerked into three bays when viewed from the outside, with a semicircular apse forming the choir.
