Exposition permanente sur le métier d'arboriculteur

Laurent Chosson, a famous restaurateur from the past in Moras, welcomes you to a hut he uses to store the tools he uses to cultivate his orchards. The exhibition invites you to discover the Valloire pear and the work of arboriculturists.

In the heart of the Ronzières orchards, on the edge of a shared path between the Manthes and Moras-en-Valloire hiking trails, the "cabane Chosson" has just been refurbished.
A table of pear varieties made available by its owner and renovated by the "Site Remarquable du Goût" association, the building now houses an exhibition on the profession of Valloire arboriculturist, organized by the Porte de Drôm-Ardèche community of communes with the support of the Rhône-Alpes region.
The history of local arboriculture and the daily life of arboriculturists are presented, while a central table unveils the different varieties of Valloire pears.
