Gite des Péquélés
In the north of the Drôme département, between the Vercors, Ardèche and Rhône valley plains, Claveyson is a small village in the Galaure valley. The Drôme des Collines will amaze you with its many different colors and landscapes, and the many hiking, biking and horse-riding trails that criss-cross it. Located 20 minutes from the A7 exits at Tain l'Hermitage to the south and Chanas to the north, the "Péquélés" gîte is close to a wide range of activities: Musée de la Céramique in St Uze, Palais Idéal du facteur Cheval in Hauterives, Jumping International in Ratières, listed churches in La Motte de Galaure and Saint Andéol (with panoramic views), Marthe Robin's birthplace in Châteauneuf de Galaure, La Cité du Chocolat (Valrhona) in Tain l'Hermitage, Lafuma factory stores, Jars in Anneyron and Revol Porcelaine in St Uze.
Fabienne and Philippe have carefully converted part of their home and an old barn into a vacation home. The "Gîte des Péquélés" is adjoining the owners' home, but has its own entrance, a private exterior and a natural swimming pool to share with the owners. On the first floor, this non-smoking gîte is laid out as follows: kitchen area opening onto the living room, lounge, shower room and separate toilet, 2 attic bedrooms (1x160x190) (2x90x190 can be twinned to form a 180x190 bed). Just 4 km away, the owners also offer a private picnic area on the banks of the Galaure river: an ideal spot for a relaxing break by the water and in the shade of the trees.
