On edge of Provence, nestling between the Rhône, Drôme valley and the Vercors. Nearby: hilltop villages of Mirmande and Cliousclat (pottery and ceramics). Orchards, lavender fields, the sound of cicadas. Lots of outdoor sports activities: swimming and kayaking in river Drôme, refreshing dips in the Roubion, tree-topping and walks in Marsanne forest. Panoramas and other easily accessed viewpoints enable you to see the Valdaine plain, tower at Crest, Les Trois Becs mountain and (on the far horizon) the Vercors and Rhône valley (Mont Ventoux and Cévennes if you are very lucky).
