Cycling sports, Cycle tourism routeA pretty greenway that runs along the Isère, starting north of Lac du Bourget in Savoie and finishing at the junction with the ViaRhôna south of Pont-de-l'Isère in the Drôme.
Whether you're cycling, rollerblading, jogging or walking, whether it's for the whole family or just for a bit of sport, there's something for everyone. It's also an opportunity to discover the heritage and natural riches of the Royans and Drôme des Collines regions. In addition to the routes along the Isère, three footbridges have been built to cross the river and move from one bank to the other... Bourg de Péage/Romans-sur-Isère, Port d'Ouvey between Saint Paul-lès-Romans and Eymeux and La Vanelle, between Châteauneuf-sur-Isère and Granges-lès-Beaumont. These metal structures, with a total span of 152 meters and a track width of 3.50 meters, are open to pedestrians, non-motorized two-wheelers and horse riders, who can cross from one bank of the Isère to the other on foot.
