La pierre sanglante

La Pierre Sanglante, a hiking trail, is the meeting point of 3 communes, 3 cantons and, in the past, 3 Roman cities, then 3 bishoprics and 3 seigneuries.

Already mentioned in a document dating back to 1286, this stone has a honeycombed, glowing surface that has given rise to numerous legends: human sacrifices by the Celts, executions of prisoners by the Saracens (Moors), etc. Even the knees and hands of the tortured are shown.
