La Plaine

This short, easy, family-friendly itinerary offers a delightful digestive stroll at the foot of the perched village of Puy-Saint-Martin.

Departure from Place de la mairie at the parking lot, rue du 19 mars 1962.

Cross the main street, then follow rue Fangerac. Take the RD 107 towards Roynac, then turn left onto Chemin des Batailles (behind U Express). At the U Express parking lot, turn right onto the old departmental road towards the new bypass roundabout.

Take Chemin du Pré Rond and stay on it to the end. Turn left onto Chemin des Alinots, then left again onto Chemin du Grand Pré. Cross the RD107a and take chemin du Silo.

Follow the main road for 30 m before turning right onto chemin de la Garenne. At the Chemin des Moulins post, turn left at three large oak trees.

At this point, join the section shared with the Chevrière - La Pigne loop. Continue along the stone path behind the bypass and rejoin the main road. Cross the traffic circle and return to the starting point.
