Gite located in the wing of the owners' house. Independent entrance from the courtyard. Entrance hall (2 steps or ramp), fitted kitchen opening onto living room with dining area, sitting area (sofa, armchairs), TV and convertible corner sofa (1x160), mobile air-conditioning. One bedroom with double bed (1x160) and en-suite shower room with Italian shower and washbasin. Private terrace in the courtyard, garden furniture, electric barbecue available. The gîte is set in 2000m² of wooded grounds with free access. A shared swimming pool is open from May to September, weather permitting (12x6m, depth 1m4 to 2m, fenced). Parking in the courtyard. Breakfast is provided on arrival. Shared laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer. The gîte is accessible to people with reduced mobility (wide doors, shower seat, grab bar in toilets, adapted height of washbasins). The gîte is 10 minutes from Valence TGV station. Privileged location in a green, quiet setting on the banks of the Isère river. The Belle Via (greenway) for pedestrians and cyclists passes just below the property. You can walk to Romans along the river (2km). Isabelle and Jean-Paul will give you a warm welcome and look after your every need. They also have a guest room. Jean-Paul, a former double-starred chef, will propose an exceptional table d'hôtes (3 or 5 courses, from €45 to €65/person). Just 1 hour from Grenoble, between the Rhône valley, the Vercors foothills and the Drôme des Collines, you'll be close to all the major tourist attractions: the collegiate church of Saint Barnard, the Tour Jacquemart, the international museum and the Cité de la Chaussure. You'll also be able to stroll through the pedestrian streets of the historic center, with its wealth of shops and restaurants. And just 30 minutes away, you'll find Valence, Hauterives and its "palais Idéal du facteur Cheval", Saint-Antoine and its abbey, Tain l'Hermitage and its hillside vineyards.
