Montmiral pond

Made by blocking the course of the River, which feeds it, this calm area of water has encouraged new live communities to become established that are characteristic of still waters at low altitude (dragonflies, amphibians, waterfowl and aquatic plants).

On the site, you'll find a place to relax and discover around the pond, close to the Thivolet forest, a calm stretch of water, a running stream and a very original wet undergrowth along the Savasse. The parking area features a number of educational panels on the local flora and fauna.
