Pommerol

The old village is privately owned (no visits possible in July and August). The surrounding area is well worth a visit: the Gorges de Pommerol offer a 1500-meter-long succession of "penitents" and other astonishingly sculpted rocks.

Abandoned in the 20th century, the village was bought in 1973 by a doctor who completely renovated it.
