Listed as a Monument Historique, this Gothic collegiate church was consecrated in 1493. It depended on St Apolinaire de Valence and was usually served by a member of the chapter.

At the end of the 15th century and beginning of the 16th, the Collegiate Church included the parish priest, 2 choir priests and 6 clerics for foundation services. Two solemn masses were celebrated daily.
The church of St. Prix, occupied in 1562 at the start of the Wars of Religion, was returned to the Catholics the following year, but in 1568 it was ransacked and partly burned by passing troops. Until 1632, Livron Catholics used part of the ruined building for their worship.
In April 1632, they occupied the Protestant temple (place de l'Ancienne Eglise) to make it their church. Since then, the ruins of St. Prix have inevitably deteriorated.
