This former church, demolished in 1966, was abandoned after 1935 and replaced by the lower church, still in use today.
The old building was enlarged between 1860 and 1865, with side galleries supported by columns; those on the north gallery have been preserved. Originally a Protestant temple, it was occupied and transformed by Livronnais Catholics in April 1632. The preserved portal dates from 1775.
