Via ferrata du Pas de l'Echelle

The Pas de l'Echelle opens up at the foot of the Chalancon rock. Before the road was built, a ladder was used to link the Oule and Roanne valleys. Today, a via ferrata allows you to let off steam.

650 meters long, elevation 200 meters, southern exposure, 1 hour 15 minutes to 1 hour 45 minutes, moderately difficult to difficult.

Then the route starts by a succession of narrow ledge and steep walls, this itinerary is a little bite in the air but rarely athletic. A way out, before a vertical descent, gives access to a path which goes up to the way of return.
