Village de Venterol
The scent of lavender, the sound of cicadas and the generous sunshine are in Venterol.
The village, question mark-shaped, has a brand-new Temple, a Church with a 17th century bell tower and an " At the World's End" street!
From the central square, the streets go down and cross each other around the mound bringing you from "soustet" to "soustet" (little covered path)...
When leaving the village, go discover the hamlet of Novézan and its St Michel Church. Then, hidden in little space on the Vinsobres road, stop by the Ste Perpétue Chapel whose interior is filled with frescoes, painted in 1965 by Christobal ORTI.
A must see:
- The Castle of Ratier, the washing place, the Temple, the Saint-Michel of Novézan Church.
- The ramble of the Crètes : 3 ramble paths.
