Art center Yvon Morin

Programming of events in the Auditorium of the Art Center and the ancient theatre all year long. Exhibitions of collections of works by renowned artists and current artists.

With its double-height central space, hand-crafted stone staircase, 2 exhibition rooms, antique-inspired outdoor theater and auditorium, the art center blends seamlessly into the architecture of Poët-Laval, listed as "one of France's most beautiful villages". At the foot of the Château and the Chapelle, the art center is located next to the hotel-restaurant Les Hospitaliers.
It organizes a program of quality exhibitions during the season from May to the end of September. Artistic and musical events are offered throughout the year in the Auditorium or in the outdoor space of the ancient theater: this programming is done in collaboration with concert organizers, theater companies, festival associations and exhibition curators.

The art center has an auditorium, a music hall for acoustic concerts (with the possibility of other events thanks to its multi-purpose room configuration) equipped with an acoustic ceiling, a Steinway piano, a sound system, a stage with decor (ceramics, a tapestry and 2 Byzantine columns from the late 11th century) and a room containing over 100 seats, with an entrance separate from the art center's main entrance. During the summer months, its small outdoor theater (in the antique style) hosts shows (theater, music, etc.) with a capacity of over 100 seats.

The museum space comprises 300 m2 distributed over 3 levels, helping to create a sense of intimacy with the works of art on display and the high quality of the exhibitions.
