Au Petit Château

In old village of St-Paul-Trois-Châteaux, close to restaurants, café terraces, shops & services. Traditional village of Saint-Paul-Trois-Châteaux, capital of the Tricastin, is in the Drôme Provençale, the ideal base for exploring the Drôme and the Ardèche. La Ferme aux Crocodiles at Pierrelatte (10km) is an amazing zoo, well worth a visit, as is Grignan and its famous château (under 20km). In surrounding area there are many traditional hilltop villages worth visiting: La Garde-Adhémar, Montségur-sur-Lauzon, La-Baume-de-Transit, Chamaret. among many others. Much of the local produce is justly renowned: olives, nougat, apricots, Rhône valley wines, lavender . not forgetting the famous Tricastin black truffles, which have their own museum in Saint-Paul-Trois-Châteaux (Truffle markets December-March, Musée de la Truffe et du Tricastin).

Level 2: sofa, armchair, bookcase. 1st floor: 3 bedrooms (queen-size bed) (queen-size bed) (queen-size bed), leisure area (sofa, books), bathroom/WC. Courtyard (access via kitchen, 4 steps) is a leafy little haven, peaceful despite being only short distance from village centre (garden furniture, plancha, comfortable sitting area). No private parking spaces possible given location at centre of old village but cars can be parked in front of house or 50m away. St-Paul is a lively village all year round (shows, swimming pool, etc.).
