Babel et Babylone

Babel et Babylone is a set of two houses located in the small perched village of Montclar-sur-Gervanne, backing onto the Vercors and only 20 minutes from Crest and Saillans. Babel is a large residence, built on the old medieval ramparts of the village, which benefits from large interior spaces. Babylone is a small house with a beautiful terrace and a garden enjoying a superb view of the Trois Becs mountain and the Drôme valley. This place lends itself perfectly to the reunion of several families, because the multiple spaces offer both the possibility of being independent and of meeting all together, three convertible sofas even making it possible to accommodate passing friends. Many sports activities: hiking and mountain biking (departing from the village), swimming 10 minutes away in the Drôme or in the Gervanne, canoeing, canyoning, climbing, gliding; and cultural: perched villages, local markets, producer farms, natural sites, ...

Babel is arranged on three levels including a ground floor, a garden level and an upper floor. On the ground floor (main access): kitchen/dining room, winter lounge with fireplace and television, cathedral lounge with wood-burning stove, library and board games, one bedroom (2x90), shower room, separate wc. Upstairs: through and lockable mezzanine, 2 bedrooms (1x140, 1x80) (1x160), through bathroom/wc with shower, bath and laundry room. On the garden level (facing Babylon): games room in the vaulted barn (billiards, table football, library), kitchenette, shower room/wc, shaded terrace. Babylon also has three levels. On the ground floor: kitchen/living room/living room with wood stove and access to the garden and the terrace. Upstairs: 2 attic bedrooms (1x140, 1x80) (2x90, 1x80), shower room/wc. On the lower level: large summer kitchen, terrace with its arbor, recently landscaped garden with a petanque court.
