Maria (Austrian) and Jean-Yves (a local) divide their time between Austria and the Drôme and rent out this old barn, converted using natural materials, in traditional group of buildings with pebble walls, typical of the region. Between Drôme hills and the Vercors, near Romans-sur-Isere (historical capital of luxury shoe manufacture), 17km from Valence-TGV station, near the Massif du Vercors and the greatest Rhône Valley vineyards. La Grange des Remparts is ideally located for hiking and cycling, visiting historic sights, tasting the best wines and exploring the Drôme with family or friends.

Gîte adjoining other properties but completely self-contained. Ground floor: large living room (wood-burning stove), fitted kitchen, bedroom (king-size bed). 1st floor: bedroom (double bed), shower room. Solar heating.
