La Chênaie
You'll appreciate the peace and quiet of this property and the breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains from the gîte's terrace. Montjoux is a small village made up of 4 hamlets and located in the Parc naturel régional des Baronnies Provençales. Lavender fields, pastoral meadows and a few fields of wheat and sunflowers make up the landscape. Pine, oak and beech woods populate the hills above the village. The area is ideal for walks and bike rides. Dieulefit is 10 minutes away, home to many potters and a "ville et métiers d'art" label, where you can stroll through the narrow streets of the old village and meet the local craftsmen. Grignan and its famous château are 20 minutes away, as is Bourdeaux. There are many hilltop villages in the area.
Detached house on the edge of the woods. Access to the gîte is via ten stone steps. Entrance via a bright, spacious living room with dining area and sitting area (sofa, armchairs, TV), fitted kitchen with dining table and chairs, separate toilet, 2 bedrooms (1x140) (1x160). Private bathroom in each bedroom (bathtub in one, Italian shower in the other). Access to a small covered terrace from the kitchen. Access to a second shaded terrace with garden furniture from the bedrooms.
