Potter Wheelthrown stoneware tableware and unique pieces, for homes and restaurants. Wheelthrowing and clay modelling lessons, for beginners or advanced levels.

I'm a potter located in the countryside of la Drôme, surrounded by nature, depending on the village called Upie which is close to Valence and Crest. I create stoneware tableware and unique pieces for homes and for chefs. My tableware is wheelthrown and I make all my glazes, resulting from long personal researches in order to create unique colours, light effects and textures.
Besides I give ceramic lessons, for people wanting to learn or improve their skills in clay modelling and/or wheelthrowing : weekly lessons as well as training courses on weekends, for all levels, in my studio in Upie but also at la Fabrique de Cliousclat.

Sustainable tourism :
I work only with natural, quarried materials, to limit the use of industry and its impact: glazes and engobes (colored clays used for decoration) are made in my workshop, rather than being bought ready-made. I don't throw anything down the drain and I recycle my clay to generate as little waste and pollution as possible. Last but not least, making everyday objects locally and by hand contributes to the relocation of manufacturing activities, which also helps reduce environmental impact (less transport).
