Finsbury's expertise lies in the artisanal manufacture of high-end men's shoes, with Blake or Goodyear stitching. Founded in Northampton, England, and imported to France by Jean-Pierre Dahan and David Cohen, Finsbury is positioned in the premium segment, offering a catalog of high-quality products made with French leather from the tanneries of Le Puy En Velay and Annonay, at affordable prices. In 1986, the first store opened in Paris, in the Opéra district.

Eight years later, Arnaud Bruillon joined the company as a salesman, rising through the ranks one by one until he was appointed head of the company 24 years later. The success of this brand is based on an intelligent positioning that combines know-how - 220 manual operations are required to design the shoes - quality and competitive prices.

Between 2001 and 2010, Arnaud Bruillon launched seven boutiques, when the founders retired and handed over the brand to him. His ambition was to become the French leader in Blake and Goodyear sewn shoes by 2018, which he achieved a year ahead of schedule. Today, Finsbury represents eighty points of sale worldwide (44 branches, the others franchises), including sixty in France.
